Giellavealgu (Language Changer) is a multilingual children's opera by Opera Box, which premiered at the Aleksanteri Theatre on 13 January 2026. Aimed at children aged 3-12, it is directed and written by Isa Kortekangas and Ville Salonen, with music composed by Pessi Jouste and Elias Nieminen. The story follows an arctic fox, a bluethroat and a snowy owl as they search for a shared voice, touching on northern nature, friendship and linguistic identity. The opera is performed in Northern Sámi, Finnish, Swedish, Somali, Arabic, Ukrainian and Swahili.
