H.E.R. (Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson, born 1997 in Vallejo, California) is an American R&B singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who broke through in 2016 with her debut EP under the name H.E.R. - short for Having Everything Revealed. She has won five Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year for the protest anthem "I Can't Breathe", and an Academy Award for Best Original Song for "Fight for You" from the film Judas and the Black Messiah (2021). In 2026 she voices the lead character Jo in DreamWorks Animation's Forgotten Island, a fantasy adventure rooted in Philippine mythology.
