The Forgotten Island (7) - Kino Helios

DreamWorks' new animated film The Forgotten Island tells the story of two best friends, Jo and Raissa, whose friendship is tested when life threatens to tear them apart. The film is written and directed by Oscar-nominee Joel Crawford alongside Januel Mercado, and produced by Oscar-nominee Mark Swift - the same team behind Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

Grammy and Oscar winner H.E.R. and Liza Soberano (Lisa Frankenstein, Alone/Together) voice the lead roles. On their last night together, Jo and Raissa are transported through a mysterious portal to the island of Nakali, which is filled with magical creatures from Philippine mythology. With the help of the dog-man Raww (Dave Franco), they encounter both new friends and enemies - the most feared being Manananggal, voiced by Tony Award winner Lea Salonga. However, the journey home comes at a steep price: all shared memories must be forgotten.
