Hildá Länsman & Tuomas Norvio are a Finnish duo who weave the ancient North Sámi joik tradition, luohti, into contemporary electronic music. Länsman, born in 1993 in Ohcejohka (Utsjoki) and raised in a family of reindeer herders and joikers, is one of the most prominent vocalists in Sápmi; Norvio is a Helsinki-based sound designer, composer and producer whose work spans electronic music and performance art. The two began collaborating in 2017 at the Baltic Circle Festival and released their debut album Dajan in January 2025 on the Sámi label Fierran Records - earning a nomination for the 2026 Nordic Council Music Prize.
The duo performed at Provinssi festival in Seinäjoki, Finland, in summer 2026.
Hildá Länsman & Tuomas Norvio were announced to take the main stage at Riddu Riđđu festival in summer 2026.
The duo opened the Dálvemánnu Sámi festival in Oulu, part of the Oulu2026 European Capital of Culture programme, on 3 February 2026.
Dajan was nominated for the 2026 Nordic Council Music Prize, one of the most prestigious music awards in the Nordic countries.
The duo performed at WOMEX 2025 in Tampere, selected as an official showcase act at the world music industry's leading trade fair.
