concert17:00Krypta - indiespa
Krypta delivers melancholic indie rock with occult influences. The band takes the stage at Espan as part of the indiespa series, which highlights new Finnish indie music.
Krypta is the solo project of Finnish songwriter-guitarist Henri Seger, known from the heavy metal band Tyrantti. The project blends occult rock with Finnish pop-rock sensibility - melodic distorted guitars, catchy hooks and Finnish-language lyrics that circle around mysticism, horror and the darker corners of the mind, yet never quite let go of hope. Debut album Outo laakso (Svart Records, 2023) brought the band to wider attention and earned a Vuoden Tulokas nomination at Indie Awards 2024; the follow-up Unen oma arrived in April 2026.
Unen oma received a 5/5 review from KaaosZine (19 May 2026) and a 4/5 from Noise.fi (20 May 2026).
Krypta's second album Unen oma was released on 10 April 2026 via Svart Records.
The single 'Viikate' was released as the second preview of Unen oma, featuring electric organ and Mellotron alongside distorted guitars.
The first single and music video 'Muuttuva labyrintti' from Unen oma was released in December 2025.
Krypta was nominated for Vuoden Tulokas (Newcomer of the Year) at Indie Awards 2024.
