The Pineapple Thief, one of the most significant progressive rock bands of recent decades, comes to Helsinki in July! The band performs as part of the Viikki CoolHead Live outdoor concert series.

Led by singer-songwriter Bruce Soord, The Pineapple Thief has released nearly twenty albums, six EPs and numerous live recordings throughout its extensive career. The progressive rock band has continuously pushed the boundaries of the genre and built a loyal and passionate fanbase. The live lineup featuring singer-guitarist Bruce Soord, bassist Jon Sykes, keyboardist Steve Kitchin and drummer Gavin Harrison takes the audience on a captivating journey through The Pineapple Thief's extensive catalogue, as the band plays a full-length concert on the CoolHead Live stage!

The evening opens with KRYPTA, led by singer-songwriter Henri Seger, a Finnish occultist rock band performing solo in Viikki.

The CoolHead Live concert series, organized for the sixth time in July 2026, brings two weeks of music, sunshine, craft beer and food to the area near Helsinki's Viikki nature reserve. On the unique event venue in the tropical garden Gardenia, which can hold up to two thousand people, a varied mix of domestic and international artists is presented in July. The concerts are organized by the Helsinki-based craft brewery CoolHead Brew, based in Gardenia's premises, in collaboration with the booking agency Nahka Agency.
