KUUMAA is a Finnish pop band founded in Helsinki in 2016, consisting of singer Johannes Brotherus, drummer Jonttu Luhtavaara and bassist Aarni Soivio. The band signed with Universal Music on the strength of their first demo and quickly grew from small club stages to Finland's biggest arenas. With over 250 million streams and three consecutive Emma Gala 'Band of the Year' wins, they rank among the most successful Finnish acts of the 2020s.
KUUMAA released their fourth studio album 'Valoa varten' on February 13, 2026, kicking off their 10th anniversary year.
The band launched the KUUMAA 10 club tour in February 2026, visiting ten Finnish cities over ten weeks and wrapping up at Helsinki's Tavastia in May.
The anniversary year is set to culminate with a headline concert at Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki on November 28, 2026.
According to Pollstar's annual report, KUUMAA sold more concert tickets in 2024 than any other Nordic artist or band.
