LaGaylia Frazier is an American-born singer, raised in Miami Shores, Florida, who has lived in Sweden since 2001 and built her career there in soul, jazz and pop. She first gained recognition as a session vocalist in Miami - contributing to Gloria Estefan's 1994 album Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me and to the soundtrack of the film The Specialist - before Swedish manager Marie Schröder spotted her at a Fort Lauderdale club and brought her to Scandinavia. In Sweden she has become a household name through Rhapsody in Rock tours, two Melodifestivalen appearances (2004 and 2005), a recurring role in Håkan Hellström's arena concerts, and a long-running collaboration with jazz pianist Jan Lundgren.
LaGaylia Frazier is featured in the Disco Inferno autumn 2026 Sweden tour alongside Andreas Lundstedt, Lina Hedlund and Prince Prime, covering 16 cities from September to November.
According to her official website, Frazier is appearing at several of Håkan Hellström's concerts during the 2026 summer tour.
A live album from her Tina and Me show, recorded at Rival in Stockholm in March 2025, was released in December 2025.
Frazier performed alongside Håkan Hellström at sold-out Ullevi stadium in Gothenburg in front of more than 70,000 spectators.
Frazier marked 25 years in Sweden with a jubilee tour dedicated to Tina Turner.
