Leavings Orchestra and Timo Rautiainen perform classics from Leevi and the Leavings in original arrangements. The tour lineup features original members of the band.
Leavings Orchestra (Leavings-Orkesteri) is a Finnish band formed by the surviving original members of Leevi and the Leavings - bassist Risto "Rife" Paananen, guitarist Juha Karastie and drummer Niklas Nylund - who reunited in 2011 after the death of the band's creative force, Gösta Sundqvist, in 2003. Leevi and the Leavings was one of Finland's most beloved pop-rock acts of the 1980s and 1990s, famous for Sundqvist's tragicomic lyrics and for never once performing live during their 25-year career. Leavings Orchestra keeps the catalogue alive on stage with rotating guest vocalists; since early 2024 the microphone has been held by Timo Rautiainen.
Leavings-Orkesteri feat. Timo Rautiainen has confirmed summer 2026 concerts in Tampere (10 July) and Savonlinna (18 July, rescheduled from December 2025).
The band launched a widely anticipated club tour in December 2025 with Timo Rautiainen as vocalist, performing Gösta Sundqvist's classics in their original arrangements.
The tour continued into 2026 with a sold-out show at Helsinki's Tavastia on 4 February 2026.
Timo Rautiainen joined Leavings-Orkesteri as the new touring vocalist in January 2024, replacing previous guest singers such as Siiri Nordin, Jarkko Martikainen and Jouni Hynynen.
