Maija Vilkkumaa (born 9 November 1973 in Helsinki) is a Finnish pop-rock singer-songwriter who launched her solo career in 1999 and has since sold over 300,000 records in Finland, making her one of the country's best-selling female artists. She writes and composes all her own material, and her songs have charted across four decades - from the debut single 'Satumaa-tango' to later hits like 'Lottovoitto' and 'Viimeinen elämä'. Her accolades include five Emma Awards, the Juha Vainio Award for songwriting and the Teosto Prize.
