Marko Haavisto (born 22 March 1970, Lapinjärvi) is a Finnish singer-songwriter who has led Marko Haavisto & Poutahaukat since the band's formation in 1997. The group blends Finnish schlager with roots-rock influences from country and blues, and gained wide recognition in 2002 when they appeared as the Salvation Army band in Aki Kaurismäki's film 'Mies vailla menneisyyttä', performing their breakthrough hit 'Paha vaanii'. With over 14 studio albums spanning nearly three decades, Haavisto is one of the most consistent voices in Finnish independent music.

The 'Elämään tarkoitusta' tour launched on 26 March 2026 in Kempele and continued across Finland throughout the summer.
Marko Haavisto & Poutahaukat won the Vuoden Iskelmä (Finnish Schlager of the Year) award at the Indie Awards 2025 ceremony in Helsinki.
The band released their 12th album 'Onnentalo' on 15 March 2024 and embarked on a release tour including Helsinki and Tampere G Livelab venues.
In January 2024 the band served as house band on the Finnish TV entertainment show 'Hengaillaan', hosted by Jenni Poikelus.
