Frontman of the long-running Finnish band Poutahaukat, Haavisto has been crafting rootsy Finnish songs since 1997 - his music draws on country, blues and old-school schlager, and his collaboration with director Aki Kaurismäki brought the band to national fame. Their 14th album 'Elämään tarkoitusta' came out in May 2026.
