Merita Berg (b. 1991, Kirkkonummi) is a Finnish singer-songwriter who records and performs under the name Rosita Luu. She first came to wider attention with the indie duo Hullu Ruusu before launching Rosita Luu as a solo project in 2018 - a name that doubles as the band she tours with. Across four albums her writing has drawn praise for its frank, emotionally layered take on outsiderdom and human fallibility, and Soundi magazine has called her 'a completely distinctive songwriter' whose music is 'brave maximalism on a shoestring'.
