Rosita Luu (Merita Berg) is an independent artist and band that has released four albums. The acclaimed albums draw from a wide range of musical styles without prejudice. Versatility as a songwriter is one of the artist's hallmarks, alongside strong lyrics. The songwriting reflects a deep understanding of humanity, mistakes, and intense emotions - in Rosita Luu's world, nothing is black and white or sacred.

In 2021, the album Samettisuu was nominated for the Emma Gaalorna awards in the Critics' Choice and Audience Vote categories. That same year, Samettisuu ranked third on Sound magazine's list of the year's best domestic albums. Rosita Luu was also selected for YleX's Läpimurto list, which identifies emerging stars.

Rosita Luu's latest album Yöeläin was recognized in Yleisradio music editor Susanna Vainiola's 2024 selections and in Soundi magazine. The album was also nominated in January 2025 for Album of the Year by IndieCo ry, the association of independent record and production companies, as part of the Indie Awards 2025.

Indiespa continues this year with three evenings and six different bands. The indiespa series at Espan lava has showcased fresh and compelling domestic indie music.

The concert takes place in July and August, offering Espa's summer audiences everything from delicate pop atmospheres to hard rock and roll. Performances start at 17:00 and 18:00, always free admission!
