About

Rosita Luu is the stage name of Finnish singer-songwriter Merita Berg, previously known from the band Hullu ruusu. Since 2018 she has released four albums - SOS, Samettisuu, Maaginen elävä and Yöeläin - that draw freely on indie pop, glam rock, soul and electronica, held together by her sharply personal Finnish lyrics. Samettisuu (2020) earned two Emma Award nominations and placed third on Soundi magazine's domestic album of the year list; the 2024 follow-up Yöeläin was nominated for Album of the Year at Indie Awards 2025.
