About

Miljoonasade is a Finnish rock band formed in Jyväskylä in 1986, built around vocalist and lyricist Heikki Salo. The band blends melodic rock with folk influences and distinctly Finnish storytelling, and their 1987 chart-topper 'Marraskuu' cemented them as one of the defining acts of suomirock. After a long hiatus they returned in 2014 and have remained active ever since, releasing new studio albums and touring regularly. In 2026 the band marks its 40th anniversary.
