Olli Jalonen is a Finnish novelist and doctor of philosophy. He has won the Finlandia Prize twice - in 1990 and 2018 - as well as the State Literary Prize in 1984 and 1990. His novels often explore pivotal moments in Finnish history and the psychological atmosphere of their era.
