Paavo Kettunen is a Finnish theologian and professor emeritus who has spent over 30 years researching shame, guilt, confession and pastoral care. His work draws on personal writings from hundreds of Finnish people. He has written extensively on questions of human dignity, self-esteem and spirituality.
