Pete Poskiparta (born 1977, Uusikaupunki) is Finland's leading mentalist and magician, specialising in a blend of mind-reading illusions, comedy and psychological magic. He is the only Finnish mentalist to have won international recognition, receiving the Dunninger Memorial Award in 2019 - the most prestigious prize in mentalism - and was named Magician of the Year in Finland in 2014. With over three decades on stage, he has performed in more than eleven countries and appeared in numerous Finnish TV and radio programmes.
Poskiparta's 'Mahdotonta' tour continues through summer and autumn 2026, with dates confirmed in cities including Savonlinna, Oulu, Lohja and Somero.
The 'Mahdotonta' spring 2026 tour opened in Savonlinna on 7 March, with the Tampere date selling out.
Poskiparta premiered his sixth full-length solo show, 'Miraakkeli', at the intimate Sopukka stage of Turku City Theatre, running 26 September to 18 October 2025.
Poskiparta performed as part of the 'Maagikot 4 - Shaping the Reality' ensemble tour, billed as Finland's most popular magic and illusion tour.
Poskiparta was named Solo Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 by Suomen Yrittäjät (the Finnish Entrepreneurs' Association).
