Razorlight are a London indie rock band founded in 2002 by singer-guitarist Johnny Borrell, who built their sound around post-punk energy and sharp pop hooks. Their self-titled 2006 album went five times platinum in the UK and gave them their first number one single with 'America'. After years of line-up changes and a hiatus, the classic four-piece - Borrell, guitarist Björn Ågren, bassist Carl Dalemo and drummer Andy Burrows - reunited and released their fifth album, Planet Nowhere, in October 2024.
Razorlight announced a UK and European 'America' 20th Anniversary Tour for autumn/winter 2026, starting in Stockholm on 23 October.
At the On The Beach festival, the band confirmed they are working on a follow-up to Planet Nowhere and teased a new single.
Razorlight announced a spring 2025 UK Planet Nowhere tour, including a homecoming show at Camden's Roundhouse in London.
The band released their fifth studio album Planet Nowhere on 25 October 2024 via V2 Records, the first with the classic line-up since 2008.
Razorlight played a one-off Up All Night 20th anniversary show at O2 Academy Brixton in November 2024, with The Mystery Jets as special guests.
