Risto Puurunen is a self-taught visual artist, sculptor and musician, best known as a founding member of the experimental group Cleaning Women, whose trademark is handbuilt instruments and a distinctive sound. He also serves as director of Taidelaitos Haihatus and works across contemporary art and film music.
