Roope Salminen & Koirat is a Finnish pop-rap band formed in 2010, fronted by rapper and TV personality Roope Salminen. Originally put together for a single cover-band gig, the eight-piece grew into one of Finland's most celebrated live acts, with multiple platinum singles and two chart-topping albums to their name. The band blends high-energy hip-hop with dancefloor pop, and their shows are known for crowd singalongs and non-stop dancing.
The band released their first new single in over a year, 'Rakkaus on sokea' (feat. Senni), on 5 September 2025.
The band is celebrating their 15th anniversary with a headline show at Club Stadion in Helsinki on 5 December 2025, followed by a full anniversary tour throughout 2026.
Roope Salminen & Koirat were announced as part of the opening season lineup at Club Stadion, a new live music club inside Helsinki's Olympiastadion.
