Samla Mammas Manna is a Swedish progressive rock band from Uppsala, founded in 1969 by keyboardist Lars Hollmer. Known for virtuosic playing, absurdist humour and a restless mix of prog, jazz and Scandinavian folk, they were one of the founding members of the Rock in Opposition movement in the late 1970s. The band went through several name changes - Zamla Mammaz Manna, Von Zamla - before dissolving around 1980, then reuniting in 1990 and again in 2002. After Hollmer's death in 2008, guitarist Coste Apetrea has kept the music alive under the banner Samla Mammas Manna Revisited.
Samla Mammas Manna Revisited announced a return to Finland in December 2025 - their first Finnish concerts since 1975 - with shows in Pori (12 Dec) and Tampere (13 Dec).
The band performed at G Livelab Tampere on 13 December 2025 and at Validi Karkia club in Pori on 12 December 2025, with a lineup led by Coste Apetrea.
A Dangerous Minds feature published in February 2026 highlighted archival footage of the band from 1974, drawing renewed attention to their legacy.
