About

Son Demon & His Holy Boys is a Helsinki-based Finnish band led by singer-guitarist-rapper Pietari Kiviharju (known solo as Pietari / Pietaripoika), with Mitja Tuurala on double bass, Tyko Haapala (hip-hop alias Tykopaatti) on drums, and Sami "Kanttori" Nieminen on organ. The group moves freely between blues, soul, funk, reggae, rap, punk and Finnish iskelmä - from swamp-ascetic voodoo to urban rhythm music - drawing on the deep roots experience of all four members.

    Sami "Kanttori" Nieminen joined Pietarin Spektaakkeli / Son Demon & His Holy Boys on organ, adding organ solos to the rhythm section.
