Sweatmaster is a garage rock trio from Turku, Finland, made up of Sasu Mykkänen (bass, vocals), Mikko Luukko (guitar) and Matti Kallio (drums). The band broke through at the turn of the millennium and went on to release four albums between 2002 and 2010, earning best Finnish rock album honours three times and touring Europe alongside acts like The Hives and Motörhead. After a decade-long hiatus (2011-2022), they returned to the stage and in January 2026 released their fifth album, More!, on Svart Records.
Sweatmaster released their fifth album More! on January 30, 2026 via Svart Records, their first full-length in 15 years.
The band released the lead single 'Destroyer' in September 2025, ahead of the More! album.
Sweatmaster performed at Tavara-asema in Tampere on July 18, 2025, opening for Von Hertzen Brothers.
After an 11-year hiatus, Sweatmaster returned to the stage at Turku's Kesärauha festival in 2022 to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut album Sharp Cut.
