Tero Vesterinen is the frontman and songwriter of Vesterinen Yhtyeineen, a Finnish indie-pop and iskelmä band from Uusimaa, active since 2006 and signed to Universal Music Finland. The band has released nine studio albums, with several charting in the Finnish top 10, and built one of the country's most loyal live followings through relentless touring. Their 2023 single 'Kohti sydänpeltoja' won the Vuoden iskelmä award at Iskelmä Gaala and topped radio charts, and in 2026 the song was voted the greatest Finnish iskelmä of all time by listeners of Aito Iskelmä radio.
