Timo Kotipelto & Netta Skog is a Finnish acoustic duo pairing Stratovarius frontman Timo Kotipelto - who has led the power metal band since 1994 - with Netta Skog, a Finnish accordionist who won the Kultainen Harmonikka title in 2006 and the World Digital Accordion Championship in 2015. The concept grew out of Skog's visits to Kotipelto's solo gigs in 2019: instead of a guitarist, the entire instrumental side rests on Skog's digital accordion, which she uses with a looper and drum sounds to rework rock and metal classics. Skog also contributes her own vocals, giving the two-person show a surprisingly full sound.
The duo performed at Ravintola Zone in Ruka (Kuusamo) on 25 April 2026, with tickets sold via Ticketmaster.
In an October 2025 interview, Kotipelto said Stratovarius has begun composing a follow-up to 2022's 'Survive' but the album will not arrive quickly.
Kotipelto publicly stated in 2025 that he and former Stratovarius guitarist Timo Tolkki are now on good terms.
Netta Skog was named Accordionist of the Year 2024 (Vuoden Harmonikkataiteilija) by the Finnish Accordion Association.
Netta Skog joined Cirque du Soleil as a band musician in 2022.
