touko is a five-piece pop/jazz band from Helsinki, founded in 2018 by vocalist Helka Ruusumetsä, pianist Laura Valldén and cellist Lisa Korkman, later joined by drummer Leo Ash and saxophonist Amos Bonsdorff. The band writes and produces all its own Finnish-language material, blending jazz, pop and alternative music in a style that has drawn younger audiences to jazz in Finland. Their live shows weave improvisation and theatrical elements together, and the 2025 triple single 'kolme' landed the track 'enkeli' on Spotify's Viral 50 Finland chart.
