Vaput-naiskuoron trio is a small ensemble drawn from Naiskuoro Vaput, a women's choir based in Jyvaskyla and the oldest active Finnish-language women's choir in Finland. The choir was founded in 1910 - with roots going back to 1906 - and is a founding member of the Finnish Women's Choir Association. Vaput has been named Finland's Choir of the Year three times (1985, 2000 and 2010) and won silver at an international choir competition in Verona in 2010.
Morgan Sotejeff-Wilson was selected as the new conductor of Naiskuoro Vaput, succeeding Ulla Kotamäki who led the choir since 1998.
Ulla Kotamäki conducted her farewell concert with Naiskuoro Vaput on 1 May 2026, ending a 28-year tenure.
Naiskuoro Vaput celebrated its 115th anniversary with a series of concerts throughout 2025, including a Marianpäivä church concert at Kuokkalan kirkko.
