Vermilia is a Finnish one-woman pagan/atmospheric black metal project founded in 2017 by a multi-instrumentalist who writes, records, produces and masters everything herself - including hand-built shaman drums. Her three albums, sung entirely in Finnish, draw on the country's landscapes, mythology and pagan heritage, and her 2025 release Karsikko reached #30 on Finland's official charts and #3 among physical album sales.
Vermilia headlined a sold-out pagan metal night in Helsinki alongside Kallomäki and Vasaria in April 2026.
YleX (Finnish Broadcasting Company) selected Karsikko as its album of the month in July 2025.
The Karsikko vinyl edition reached #7 on Finland's physical album sales chart in October 2025.
Vermilia released her third full-length album Karsikko on 14 February 2025, debuting at #30 on Finland's official chart and #3 among physical album sales.
Vermilia premiered the single "Veresi" in January 2025 ahead of the Karsikko album release.
