Pagan Weekend 2026

Pagan Weekend 2026 festival takes place at On the Rocks club in Helsinki on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October 2026. Six artists perform each day.

On Friday 16.10, Vermilia, Kallomäki and Folkrim take the stage. Vermilia blends northern melancholy, nature's mysticism and extreme metal; the artist has released three albums and tours more abroad than in Finland. Kallomäki from Riihimäki is known for jouhikko-metal and dark folk centred around the cult figure Roka Ukrin. Folkrim brings a modern take on folk-metal - the band promises death, energy and joy.

On Saturday 17.10, Hindarfjäll (SWE), Noiduin and Vetten Äpärät perform. Swedish Hindarfjäll plays viking metal with themes of nature, ancient goddesses and a changing world - Finnish artist Peter Franzén guests on the band's album Lärads Grenar. The band was founded in 2015 and has released three full-length albums. Noiduin from Pori presents mystical dark folk on self-made instruments; the band's collaboration with German Bjorth, the track Svinfylking, features in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 4 trailer. Vetten Äpärät closes Saturday with solid fantasy-heavy.

On the Rocks is accessible with mobility aids, but the venue is not fully accessible - there are stairs and thresholds. Staff assist with access to the club on the lower floor via lift.
