Von Hertzen Brothers is a Finnish progressive art rock band formed in Helsinki in 2000 by brothers Mikko (vocals, guitar), Kie (guitar, vocals) and Jonne (bass, keyboards, vocals). Known for layered vocal harmonies, intricate arrangements and a sound that moves freely between hard rock, folk and prog, the band has won an Emma Award (the Finnish Grammy equivalent) and built a loyal following in Finland and the UK. Their ninth studio album, 'In Murmuration', was released in October 2024 on their own label DoingBeingMusic.
Von Hertzen Brothers are celebrating 25 years since their first live show, releasing special anniversary editions of key albums throughout 2026, including a limited marbled double vinyl edition of 'Stars Aligned'.
The band announced a four-date UK tour in August 2025, including Southampton, London, Nottingham and the Firevolt Festival in Stockport.
Von Hertzen Brothers released a live album 'Live at Tavastia' in early 2024 and toured Western Europe in spring 2025 in support of 'In Murmuration'.
The ninth studio album 'In Murmuration' was released on 25 October 2024 on the band's own label DoingBeingMusic, on limited-edition crystal-clear vinyl, CD and digital.
PROG Magazine released a special limited-edition Von Hertzen Brothers cover bundle to coincide with the 'In Murmuration' release.
