Kuopiorock takes place at Väinölänniemi in Kuopio on 23-25 July 2026. The event's recommended age limit is 12 years, but rock fans of all ages are welcome. Entrance tickets are exchanged for wristbands upon arrival.

The headliner is American heavy metal band W.A.S.P., led by Blackie Lawless. The band is known for hits such as "I Wanna Be Somebody", "Wildchild" and "Animal (Fuck Like A Beast)", and has sold over 12 million records worldwide. In recent years, the band has toured the world performing their debut album in full. Other performers include Charon, Mira Luoti, Amorphis, Danko Jones, The 69 Eyes, Ellinoora, Von Hertzen Brothers, Tarot, Turmion Kätilöt and many others. The Väinöstagen stage features SKYB - Ysäriltä ja takaisin and bands from Kuopio Rock Academy: Mummopunk, Violent Garden, Northern Doom, Jatkoroikka666, Avohaava, Southern Cross, Woundstrip and Licuation, as well as guest bands Kantor (Turku Rock Academy) and Terromania (Jyväskylä Rock Academy).

Tickets

The pensioner ticket is intended for rock-loving pensioners - be prepared to show a valid, personal pension certificate when exchanging your wristband. An open day ticket entitles you to exchange a ticket for any day, and the day ticket must be exchanged by 30.4.2026.

CITTARI VIP TICKET (K-18) includes: VIP wristband and VIP pass on lanyard, separate queue and security check at the main entrance, cloakroom service near the main entrance and at the VIP area entrance, access to the CITTARI VIP area, the VIP area's own service point with expanded product range, VIP hosts, one meal per day in the VIP buffet, VIP programme and toilets in the VIP area. VIP tickets cannot be paid with a culture card.
