Jonna Tervomaa performs at Tavastia in July. The seven-time Emma Award winner presents familiar songs from her extensive catalogue alongside her latest album SUPERAURINKO.
Jonna Tervomaa (b. 7 January 1973, Forssa) is a Finnish singer-songwriter who first came to public attention at age ten by winning the Syksyn sävel competition in 1983. Her adult career took off with her self-titled debut album in 1998, which spent eleven weeks on the Finnish charts and earned three Emma Awards. Over more than two decades she has released 11 studio albums, collected seven Emma Awards in total, and received the Teosto Prize in 2007 for the songwriting on Parempi loppu. Her most recent album, SUPERAURINKO, came out in August 2024.
Tervomaa appeared as one of eight artists on season 16 of the Finnish TV show Vain elämää, broadcast on Nelonen from September 2025.
A nationwide concert-hall tour for spring 2026 was announced on 22 September 2025 - Tervomaa's first-ever solo tour of concert halls.
Several Vain elämää season 16 singles were released via Sony Music Finland, with 'Lauseet on vaan lauseita' reaching over 630,000 Spotify streams.
The album SUPERAURINKO, comprising 11 tracks written and composed by Tervomaa, was released on 30 August 2024 via Sony Music Entertainment Finland.
A SUPERAURINKO club tour took Tervomaa to Helsinki, Kuopio, Lappeenranta, Turku, Tampere, Jyväskylä, Oulu and Joensuu in September 2024.
