Samuli Putro (born 1970 in Helsinki) is a Finnish singer-songwriter who first came to wide attention as the frontman of Zen Café in the 1990s. Since launching his solo career in 2009, he has released nine studio albums and won both the Emma Award for Male Solo Artist and the Juha Vainio Prize for his songwriting. His 2012 album Tavalliset hautajaiset held the top spot on the Finnish albums chart for 19 weeks, and his 2024 duet with Ellinoor, 'Osuma', became one of the most-played Finnish songs of that year.
Putro performed his biggest-ever solo concert at Helsinki's ice arena on 18 April 2026, billed as 'Välipysäkki'.
Putro released his ninth solo album Viime yöltä on 26 September 2025 via Universal Music Finland.
Following the album release, Putro embarked on an extensive Finnish tour spanning over 20 cities from October to December 2025.
Putro published a memoir titled Elämäni miehet in early 2025.
The duet 'Osuma' with Ellinoor, released in spring 2024, became one of the most-played Finnish songs of that year.
