About

Wardruna is a Norwegian musical project founded in 2003 by Einar Selvik and Gaahl. Their music draws on Old Norse poetry and traditional Nordic instruments such as the tagelharpa and frame drums. They gained wide recognition through their contributions to the TV series Vikings.
