Warner E. Hodges (born June 4, 1959, Nashville, Tennessee) is an American rock guitarist and founding member of Jason & the Scorchers, the Nashville band whose raw fusion of country and punk in the early 1980s laid the groundwork for what is now called Americana and alt-country. His longtime bandmate Jason Ringenberg once described him as "the only guitarist in the world who can really bridge the gap between James Burton and Angus Young." Beyond the Scorchers, Hodges has been a full-time member of Dan Baird & Homemade Sin and has built a parallel solo career since 2007, releasing several albums under the Warner E. Hodges Band name.
