Westway is a Helsinki pop rock quartet founded in summer 2021 by singer-songwriter Ilmari Läntinen - son of Finnish rock veteran Tommi Läntinen - alongside guitarist Tuomas Hokkanen, bassist Joni Hartikainen and drummer Henri Niemi. The band has released two six-track EPs: the debut 'Postcards' (2022) and 'Helsinki Syndrome' (February 2025), and is known for tightly crafted live shows and hook-driven songs built around big rock energy.
Westway released their second EP 'Helsinki Syndrome' (6 tracks) on 28 February 2025.
The title track 'Helsinki Syndrome' was released as a single on 31 January 2025, ahead of the EP.
Westway played the 'Helsinki Syndrome' EP release show at Semifinal in Helsinki on 6 March 2025.
