Kalevauva.fi is a Helsinki-based Finnish folk-pop duo formed in 2016 by Aapo Niininen and Kimmo Numminen. The band built its reputation on a simple but sharp idea: setting lyrics lifted verbatim from Finnish internet discussion forums and social media to acoustic troubadour music. Three studio albums, a poetry book and a Vuoden Vantaalainen (Vantaa Citizen of the Year) award later, the duo remains one of the most distinctive acts in Finnish popular music.
