Wisborg is a German goth rock and darkwave band founded in early 2017 in Hanover by vocalist/guitarist Konstantin Michaely and guitarist/synth player Nikolas Eckstein, now based in Berlin. Over the years the duo grew into a full quartet and built a strong live reputation, playing M'era Luna, Wave-Gotik-Treffen and Amphi Festival, as well as supporting Lord Of The Lost and She Past Away on tour. Their fifth album 'Phantomschmerz' (2026), produced by Lord Of The Lost frontman Chris Harms, marks the band's most ambitious release to date.
Wisborg released their fifth studio album 'Phantomschmerz' on 6 February 2026 via Danse Macabre Records, on limited black vinyl and CD with two physical-only bonus tracks.
The physical editions of 'Phantomschmerz' include a Placebo cover ('The Bitter End') and a live recording of 'Im freien Fall' from Amphi Festival 2025 featuring Chris Harms of Lord Of The Lost.
Wisborg announced the Phantomschmerz Tour 2026, a six-date German headline run in November-December 2026 with The Fright as special guest.
Wisborg toured Germany in January-February 2025 alongside Hell Boulevard, playing eight club dates.
A remix compilation 'Wisborg Remixed' was released in October 2024, following the self-titled album from January 2024.
