Zara Larsson (born 1997, Solna, Sweden) is a Swedish pop singer-songwriter who first caught public attention at age ten by winning the talent show Talang Sverige. Her 2015 singles 'Lush Life' and 'Never Forget You' broke her internationally, and the 2017 album So Good - one of the most-streamed debut albums by a female artist on Spotify - cemented her place in European pop. Her fifth album, Midnight Sun (2025), earned universal critical acclaim and marked her biggest commercial breakthrough yet, including her first Grammy nomination.
'Midnight Sun' reached No. 1 on Billboard's Pop Airplay chart (dated June 27, 2026), making Larsson the first artist ever to score two debut No. 1s on that chart in consecutive weeks.
Larsson released Midnight Sun: Girls Trip on 1 May 2026, a remix album featuring Robyn, PinkPantheress, Shakira, Tyla and Emilia, among others.
Larsson announced an Asian leg of the Midnight Sun Tour on 27 May 2026, later adding a second Seoul show and new dates in Quezon City and Bangkok due to demand.
Midnight Sun debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top Dance Albums chart and in the top 25 of Billboard Top Album Sales, marking career-best chart positions for Larsson.
The title track 'Midnight Sun' was nominated for Best Dance Pop Recording at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, Larsson's first Grammy nomination.
