Annual Rings: Haaga Art Society's 60th Anniversary Exhibition — Kanneltalo, Helsinki
Free entry

The Haaga Art Society's anniversary exhibition showcases 60 years of the society's activities and fills Kanneltalo with art and stories.

The exhibition in Kanneltalo's gallery brings together works by artists from the Haaga Art Society spanning different decades. On display are paintings, prints, photographs, and sculptures that tell both of individual artists' personal expression and the community's long and rich tradition. The works reflect the stylistic movements, experiments, and personal perspectives of different eras and their creators. Alongside older pieces, new works are also shown, offering viewers the chance to journey through time.

Founded in 1966 in North Haaga, the Haaga Art Society is an important cultural institution in the area, providing opportunities for collaborative art-making and exhibition. Over the years, the society has organized numerous exhibitions, courses, workshops, and collaborative projects that have inspired and educated both experienced artists and beginners.

The exhibition also presents the society's history and activities. The summer exhibition serves both as a celebration of art and as a tribute to those who have made the Haaga Art Society what it is today: an active, welcoming community where art has room to flourish. The exhibition invites both current and former members, as well as all art lovers, to celebrate together the past decades and glimpse the future.
