Human Nature - Children's and Youth Art at Vuotalo Gallery

Helsinki Art School presents an extensive summer exhibition featuring artwork by 6-20-year-old children and young people from Helsinki for the academic year 2025-26.

This year's theme "Tales and Imagination" has inspired Helsinki Art School students to create images, animations, and sculptures that make children's and young people's thoughts and imagination visible. The worlds of tales and stories reveal the secrets of the mind, creativity, and play. The realm of tales and fantasy offers adventures for all ages.

The exhibition also showcases independent final projects created by nearly thirty young people who have studied at the art school for several years. The works explore themes chosen by the young artists themselves and topics that interest them. The exhibition includes drawings, paintings, and ceramics, as well as portfolios that deepen the subject matter and document the process of creating the final projects.
