Tsai Yi-Chin: From Autumn to Winter is on view at Forum Box gallery. The work transforms delicate plant traces recorded on 35 mm and 16 mm film into expansive projections, evoking reflections on time, transience, and nature's quiet persistence.

Tsai Yi-Chin is a Taiwan-born visual artist and filmmaker based in Helsinki who works with analog film, experimental animation, and mixed media.

Through handcrafted processes such as under-camera animation and alternative darkroom techniques, she creates films and installations that explore impermanence, the rhythms of seasons, and human experience.

She holds an Erasmus Master's degree in animation (Re:Anima) from Aalto University, LUCA School of Arts, and Lusófona University.

Her work has been presented internationally at film festivals and exhibitions across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Recent works were created during an artist residency at Filmverkstaden in Vaasa.
