Tsai Yi-Chin: From Autumn to Winter is on view at Forum Box gallery from 29.5 to 21.6.2026. The work transforms traces of plants recorded on 35 mm and 16 mm film into large-scale projections that resonate with time, transience, and nature's quiet persistence.

Tsai Yi-Chin is a Taiwanese visual artist and filmmaker based in Helsinki. She works with analog film, experimental animation, and mixed media - employing handmade methods such as under-camera animation and alternative darkroom techniques. She holds an Erasmus master's degree in animation (Re:Anima), completed at Aalto University, LUCA School of Arts, and Lusófona University.

Her works have been presented at film festivals and exhibitions across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Her recent pieces were created during an artist residency at Filmverkstaden in Vaasa.
