June Exhibitions Celebrate Pride Month

The event is intended only for pensioners and unemployed people who have a service centre card.

The June exhibitions celebrate Pride month. In the Takka and Marja galleries, two photo exhibitions are on display: Queer+ - Older Generation & Pioneers highlights representatives from the older generation of the rainbow community, and Queer Youth focuses on the young rainbow community. Both exhibitions have been curated by Rainbow Cities Network (RCN), of which the City of Helsinki is a member - a selection of all the photographs is shown. The images were taken around the world, so the texts are originally in English; Finnish translations will arrive during June.

In the Siskonkäytävä "hill", there is also the Rainbow Generations photo exhibition, which documents moments from the Rainbow Generations project and its performances. This exhibition will open in early June.
