Raimo Lehtomaa - Basic Figures

Arabianranta Library hosts an art exhibition by Helsinki-based artist Raimo Lehtomaa from 3 June to 31 July 2026.

The works are often built from thin, translucent layers of colour that blend into one another. The image surface is divided into several sections where dark-light contrasts, muted tones, and colour interactions alternate. The images contain figures and beings - forms reminiscent of organic and human reality - but they are not direct references to the surrounding world.

Raimo Lehtomaa is a Helsinki-based visual artist who studied at Kankaanpää Art School and Lahti Institute of Design. He works primarily with acrylic painting as well as ink and mixed media techniques, and has held numerous solo exhibitions and participated in dozens of group exhibitions in Finland and abroad.

The exhibition is organised in collaboration with the Helsinki Artists' Association.
