Invisible Rainbow - HIAA Group Exhibition
TakeMeHome-Galleria, Helsinki
ilmainen
Invisible Rainbow is an art exhibition held in June, during Pride Month. Its aim is to make visible the struggles, battles and victories of marginalized communities, such as the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent people, migrants and refugees, and people with disabilities.
The exhibition brings to light experiences and emotions that are often suppressed or left unspoken - loneliness, resilience and the courage to stand alone and be true to oneself.
Helsinki International Artists' Association (HIAA) supports art not only as aesthetic expression, but as something more important: as a voice for the invisible, unheard and often forgotten.
It seeks to shine a light on important and sensitive topics and foster discussion of issues that are too often overlooked or ignored. In this way, HIAA's role is strengthened as an active and meaningful player in both the social and artistic spheres.
Many workshops take place during the exhibition. Read more about them on social media and the website.
