In the work Trajectories, weaving is examined from the perspective of queer spatiality.

Gabriella Presnal uses broken electrical cords and applies self-taught basket-weaving techniques to transform two-dimensional landscapes into three-dimensional places.

Deleuze and Guattari call weaving the most striated - or controlled/measured - form of "nomadic art", since there is no room to breathe within the boundaries of a tightly woven square.

As described in the work A Thousand Plateaus (1980), nomadic art applies the properties of land and space to textile formats. The sculptures aim to restore what is described as striated and transform it into something smooth or nomadic, where it can penetrate and create cracks in which spatial tensions emerge.

MUU Ikkuna in Jätkäsaari in Helsinki is a new space for presenting contemporary art. The space is located at street level in a student housing building of the Helsinki Proper Finland Student Housing Foundation completed in Jätkäsaari. The building's opening was held in September 2024 and MUU's exhibition activities began in October 2024.

The opening on 4.6.2026 at 17.00-18.00 in the window exhibition space at the corner of Välimerenкatu and Messitytönkuja.
