Helsinki Day at Vuosaaren Library

Helsinki Day is celebrated on 12.6 at Vuosaaren Library and its surroundings with a varied programme.

Library programme:

Dream City - Lego building workshop 14-16 in the library's children's area. Build your own dream city with lego - you can also write a poem or borrow books about cities.

Vuotalo walks at 12 and 16. During approximately 40-minute tours, you will explore Vuotalo's exterior and interior: its history, spaces and activities, as well as the library which was renovated last year. The starting point is outside Vuotalo's main entrance.

Vuotorin programme:

Welcome Day 15-18 welcomes new residents who have recently moved to Helsinki. At the event, you can get to know your neighbourhood's services, hobbies and leisure offerings. The event is held on the square outside Vuotalo.

The music programme features a family concert at 15 with the multilingual band INDABA. The evening concludes at 18 with Stig's show.
