Helsinki Day at Vuotalo

Come celebrate Helsinki Day at Vuotalo! The day begins with a family concert and culminates in Stig's show.

Helsinki Day 2026 at Vuotalo opens with a family concert when the multilingual band INDABA, playing danceable music, takes the stage.

From 3 to 6 PM on Vuotalo's lower courtyard, the Welcome Day event welcomes newly arrived residents to Helsinki! The event offers the audience useful information as well as inspiring circus performances from Circus Simon and Säilättärit.

In the evening, we get to enjoy the fantastic headliner Stig's show!

3 PM INDABA
INDABA offers an energetic and multilingual show combining powerful vocals, dance, and skilled instrumental performances. The three-member group draws inspiration from Tanzanian tradition, hip-hop, and their own stories. With the audience, they reflect lightly on identity and how many homes can fit within one person.
The music is performed in Finnish, English, Spanish, Swahili, and Sumbwa.

Vuotalo's Helsinki Day culminates in Stig's concert! STIG is known for numerous gold and platinum singles and hits such as Puumaa mä metsästän, Original gigolo, and Roy Orbison. He has also captivated audiences in the TV show Vain elämää and gained popularity for his Kuningaskobra interpretation.
